The past week my computer had to be repared, since the internet-port was broken. So I couldn't access the internet through my computer. Fortunatly I could check everything on my fathers laptop once in a while, but not as much as I would like. But some things have happened while I was away.

For instance, the 3th of july was my birthday! :D I got a lot of Hellboy comics (which are really great! If you haven't read them, you should!), some plasticine for animation and the book 'The Animators Survival Kit' which is really usefull. It's just overloaded with all the stuff you need to know for animation. It's really Great!

Then, a few days later I heard my guitar was available allready (in july instead of august!), so we payed it (we had allready ordered it) and they send it to us! So, now I've got a beautiful Epiphone Les Paul Custom (limited EMG edition and stuff...) in my bedroom! :D It's really a great guitar. It plays really well. I'm very happy with it (obviously)! ;)

Then, since my computer was being repared, I couldn't animate. So I delayed the deadline, so I would have more time to animate everything. It's December now.

Also I started Storyboarding my next movie, which I allready love! I'm really prood of the story, which I've re-written loads of times and then when I thought it was allready perfect I came up with this even better addition to it! It's going to be fantastic! The only problem is (since it's stopmotion) room! There are some quite big sets, but I might have an idea how to fix that, but before I start doing that there is Quebo, which I want to finish first! You can follow my progressions (in Dutch) at the following blog: [link]

Then I've been watching a lot of BBC lately. A lot of cool shows (and a lot of rubish aswell, but it's fun to watch :) ). There's for instance a very nice animated show on BBC1 at 15.50 (british time) called Skunk Fu. I really like it's style, which looks kinda cool. It's about a skunk who is learning kung fu and has to protect his village from Ninja monkeys and a dragon. He is helped by his animal friend from the village. It's a funny show.

Then I've ofcourse read the last Harry Potter. It was really great! I just loved how it all came together and stuff. Snape was really great, though I'm not going to spoil it any further for you! ;)
Best book of the Series! The Epilogue was a bit confusing though.

Well, that's it from me! See you next time! :)

Wow, that's a long time ago! but I have been doing things! I'm making two comics currently and I'm working on the storyboards of 6 short animations (± 1 1/2 minute each).

The Comics :
One will be online. It'll be a short story. And there''s a possibility that there will be further episodes!
The Other one will be a book. It'll contain 4 different 10 page stories drawn with 4 different materials! I'm almost done with one of them (which is with ballpoint) and I'll come up with ideas for the other 3 soon aswell (which will be one in flash, one with charcoal and I'm not yet sure what I'll do with the last one. Any suggestions?).

The animations :
It'll be a series with 6 episodes of 1 and a half minute each. I've storyboarded the first one and I'm busy with the second. The others are just ideas now... You can find a little preview one my site, right here : [link] I'm starting production this summer and I hope it'll be finished at the end of it.
It's in flash, maybe with backgrounds from photoshop, I'm not yet sure...

Then after that one I'll do something with clay-animation, but I won't tell you anything about that yet! ;)

Then there's Space Pirates. It was a lot harder then I thought, so I decided to quit! :( but not before finishing this chapter, so that this storyline is at least finished! Damn, what was I thinking when I planned 4 years? :P
I hope I can start finishing it soon, there are 8 pages left and I hope you're still interested in reading it. if not, I don't care, I'm still going to post it. ;)

Then I'm still waiting on my guitar! It's getting harder and harder. When I listen to music it's getting very hard aswell! Well, I guess I just have to be more patient! August, f*ck! That's a long time! 3 months left!

That's it for now. hopefully till soon with new space pirate episodes!!! :)

Also I ordered an electric guitar! A very cool one! An Epiphone Les Paul Custom Limited Edition 'Midnight' with EMG 81' active pick up's! (not that that means anything to you, but it sounds so cool! :D )
